Nothing gets in the way; the heat stays where it’s needed – on the floor. Building services experts know that the larger the heat-emitting surface area, the more effective and economical the space heating. Compared to conventional radiators, the ideal room temperature with underfloor heating is 1 ºC to 2 ºC lower.
The resulting energy savings of 6 to 12 % speak for themselves, as do the lower system and flow temperatures.
Applications range from workshops and production halls with light or heavy machinery operation, through to warehouses with forklift trucks, right up to aircraft maintenance hangars.
